Introduction

I acquired my first Aby in 1997, a usual abyssinian called Annera Ella Fitz G, her pet name is Yasmin as I thought she was a gorgeous babe, and named her after the model Yasmin Le Bon. I then had the privilege of having my first litter in 1999. I chose my prefix (cougarcat) as I thought the Aby looked like a little wild cat such as a cougar, but with the added benefit of having a people orientated temperament. As I am an artist, my kittens will have art related names. Durer is named after the artist Albrecht Durer. Joli Coeur is named after a painting by Dante Rossetti, both artists I particularly admire. Although I have had only one litter so far they are already being noted for their wonderful friendly temperament.
